Village of Metcalfe St Patrick’s Day Home Decorating Contest

• Entry applications are available via the Metcalfe Community Association Face Book page, or via emailed upon request to metcalfe.community.association@gmail.com   

1. Participation is open to all residents within the boundaries of the Village of Metcalfe. (See registration form for age categories).
2. Entry is free, no cost or fees apply.
3. Each participant is required to complete and submit a Metcalfe St Patrick’s Day Home Decoration Contest application form.
4. Entry applications must be received no later than 5pm on Monday, March 15th 2021. Due to Covid restrictions, completed forms can only be accepted via email. Scan and send forms as an attachment to: metcalfe.community.association@gmail.com
5. Contest is for exterior decorations only, including decorations in windows that are visible from the exterior. Judging will be done from outside the residence only.
6. A photo of your door/house must be submitted by email to metcalfe.community.association@gmail.com   
7. Final judging will take place on Wednesday, March 16th.
8. Judging criteria will include:

• Unique design and creative use of decorations;
• Storyline or theme;
• Display and placement of decorations, animated objects, etc.; and
• Overall presentation.

• 9. The winners will be contacted on Wednesday, March 17th . 
  • 1^ST Prize “Residential Deep Cleaning” provided by Mambo Cleaning Services (approximately 3 to 4 hours, valued at $200 +)
  • 2^nd Prize  $75 Gift Certificate from The Stable Restaurant.  (No cash value), sponsored by Hicks Insurance.
  • 3^rd Prize   Gift Package from Hawleys Corner (approximate value $50)
• 10. Participants give permission for their door/ home to be photographed and posted on social media outlets and official websites.
