Government extends loan forgiveness repayment deadline for the Canada Emergency Business Account

Services from NROCRC:- Food Box Relief Kits: delivery will be twice per week (Monday and Thursday) - Please call 613 596-5626 x 244 or e-mail info@nrocrc.org. This free service is available to seniors, those living with a disability, and those caring for an elderly person.
- Food Vouchers: are available for pick up/delivery. Clients are being asked to please call ahead for any pick-ups. Call 613-596-5626 or email info@nrocrc.org. This service is available to any vulnerable, isolated community members (no age restrictions).
- Emergency Baby Cupboard: services are still available. Clients are being ask to please call ahead for any pick-ups. Please call 613-596-5626 or email info@nrocrc.org.
- Mental Health Support: Counsellors are here to help if you need mental health support to help you cope with the COVID-19 pandemic. Call 613-596-5626 ext 249
- Intake Services: will be available through telephone – Please call 613-596-5626 ext 249.
- The EarlyOn Program is sending out weekly online activities participants through distribution lists. Please email rawni@nrocrc.org for more information.
- Virtual Zumba Class Every Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm on ‘Zoom’. Please e-mail lziebell@nrocrc.org for details. This is available for adults and seniors.
- OESP inquiries, please contact 613-596-5626 and leave a voice-mail. We will be returning calls. Due to high call volume please be patient
- The Trinity Bible Church volunteers are available to help seniors 65+ in need of groceries or help with errands and/or medical appointments . You can contact Elizabeth at 613-826-2444; Greg at 613-826-4695 or Shirley/Richard at 613 826-2444 for more details.
- ROSSS (Rural Ottawa Senior Support Services) has partnered with local grocery stores to offer free grocery delivery if you are 55+ or an adult living with a disability. Call 613-692-4697 or 613-821-1101
- A Friendly Voice is available to those who are 55+. The free service is available from 8am-12am 7 days a week. Call 613-692-9992 or 1-855-892-9992.
- Findlay Creek Community Association has launched an online platform for those requesting assistance.
- Vitality Physiotherapy and Wellness Centre is offering free 10-min virtual consultations via telehealth for anybody that may have musculoskeletal or orthopedic injuries. Clients can call 613-425-7700 or email mina@vitalitypt.ca to schedule a 10-minute session with one of the Physiotherapists who can help determine your best course of action.
- Osgoode Care Centre is offering a special way to connect with families while keeping everyone healthy. If you would like to Facetime with your loved one, please call 613-821-1034 ext 248 to arrange.
- Manotick Village Community Association has set up a Facebook group to connect residents who need assistance with those available to help. If you need help getting supplies, you can post a request. If you are able to help out, you can post your offer to help and outline what you can do. The group also features updates on what local businesses are doing to help. If you are not on Facebook, you can email president@manotickvca.org.
- The Osgoode Youth Association (O-YA) building has started a Virtual Youth Centre so we can continue to offer support, resources and a sense of connection to Osgoode Ward youth during this crisis.

- Seniors-only shopping hours: All Independent Grocery stores are open 7am to 8 am for seniors (65+) shopping only; Shoppers Drug marts have opened their doors from 7 am – 8 am for seniors (65+) shopping only; Sobey’s Grocery Stores have opened their doors from 7am – 8 am for seniors (65+) shopping only.
