Rural Ottawa South Support Services has several ways to maintain healthy, nutritious meals during this time.

Senior Isolation.

A Friendly Voice: A telephone line for seniors to call with the goal of reducing isolation and loneliness. This free phone service is available from Monday to Sunday 8am-12am. To access this service please call

Virtual Social programs: ROSSS is now offering free virtual social programs for rural seniors. Topics for these social programs include Fun Facts, Trivia, Categories, guest speakers and music! This program is available by computer or phone. Schedule of programming is as follows:

Music Monday: May 11th, 25th @ 1:00PM-1:30PM

Trivia: May 7th, 12th, 22nd @ 1:00PM

Guest Speakers: May 11th, 25th @ 1:30PM- 2:00PM

Caregiver Supports: Caregiver Support Groups and are increasing our meetings to twice a month. They will occur on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month from 10:00 to 12:00 on the following dates: May 12, May 26, June 9, June 23, 2020.
