Ottawa Fire Services Deliver 40 Carbon Monoxide Alarms to Ward Offices

The Ontario Fire Code requires that each dwelling that has an attached garage, or fuel fired appliance or a fireplace has a working carbon monoxide alarm installed in the hallway in each sleeping area.

Ottawa Fire Services graciously received funding for the purchase of carbon monoxide alarms through the Older Adult Plan. There will be 40 alarms at the Metcalfe Ward Office that will be available for Osgoode Ward resident’s who are 55 years of age or older. They can be picked up on Tuesdays between 1 and 5pm during my Open Door, first come first serve.
