Greely Gardeners Group Monthly Meeting

Come see what we're about at our next GGG Monthly Meeting...

Wednesday, April 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Greely Community Centre, 1448 Meadow Drive in Greely.

Our special guest speaker for the evening will be André Poliquin

André is a horticulturist and a trained biologist who taught at universities and colleges in Quebec for many years.  In 2010 he retired.  He is past president of the Quebec Rose Society and co-founder of the Federation of Canadian Rose Societies.  He is a popular lecturer and has authored many publications on a range of horticultural topics.  He's a member of several international societies.  He is recognized both in Quebec and abroad as a specialist in the cultivation of clematis, [klem a tiss'], orchids and roses.

Non-members are welcome at our monthly meetings with an admission fee of $3.00.

The Greely Gardeners Group are your neighbours with two things in common: we live in Greely or the surrounding area, and we love to garden. The GGG was founded in 1998 with the goal of providing 'Friendship in Gardening'. Members have a wide range of backgrounds, ages and experience; some are expert gardeners; other are beginners.

In addition to ten monthly meetings, members receive a monthly newsletter and participate in our Annual Spring Plant Sale, hands-on workshops, tours of members' gardens and a field trip to one of the larger gardens in the region. The GGG members also plant and maintain the flower beds at the Greely Community Centre.
