As part of the City of Ottawa’s annual infrastructure maintenance cycle, road resurfacing will occur to improve roadways and the citywide transportation network. The road resurfacing program will begin in May 2017 and will continue until the late August. At some time during the construction season, a roadway will be resurfaced in your neighbourhood. Below is a list of roads in our Ward.
Why: The City of Ottawa will be resurfacing roads as preventative maintenance aimed at extending the City's roadway network lifecycle.
What: Work will involve selective milling of the existing surface, patching with Hot Mixed Asphalt, microsurfacing, or slurry seal application.
When: This work is tentatively planned to begin May 2017, weather permitting. Completion is anticipated by Mid August 2017.
Where: Work will occur at various locations across the city.
The following streets will have minor interruptions of open lanes as permitted during the days and evenings:
· Earl Armstrong Rd from Bowesville Rd to High Rd
· 9th Line Rd from Victoria St to Marvellville Rd
